About this service
Patients on a ventilator cannot be moved in an ordinary ambulance. Our ventilator ambulance carries a transport ventilator and a team trained to manage airway and breathing support on the move.
We coordinate with the treating hospital before pickup so ventilator settings, oxygen requirement and medicines are ready for the journey. The patient is monitored throughout, and our team hands over directly to the receiving hospital's staff.
